From 2001 to 2002, we visited 40 (eventually more than 70) Sri Lankan tea gardens, from fields, tea picking, welfare of the people living in the tea gardens, tea making, tasting, marketing, auctions and exports. I received a letter of recommendation from the Sri Lankan Government Tea Bureau for what I learned in a comprehensive manner.
